FEATURES OF SPINNING STABILIZED SHIP, SSS.

  • Spinning stabilized ships, SSS, will be built at our future 40 plus Acres Shipyard in Coos Bay, Oregon USA.

  • Spinning stabilized ship, SSS, company is taking orders now.

  • Spinning stabilized ship, SSS, is designed and built based on figure #2 and hull example #218 of our patent description since this hull shape is completely not sensitive to its orientation to waves.

  • Hull shape - spinning Stabilized Ship, SSS, uses the entire ship hull as one giant, spinning (rotating) spherical gyroscope and has excellent superior maneuverability and is designed for buoyancy, strength, and hydrodynamic efficiency with excellent power transmission.

  • Hull special features - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, hull is a stealth vessel almost undetectable by radar. A spherical hull is rotational symmetrical. This type of symmetry is the reason the hull does not reflect radar waves so it can not be detected by radar. This type of symmetry is also why the hull of spinning stabilized ships, SSS, are not sensitive to their orientation to ocean waves.

  • Stability rated - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, is 100% stable in all sea conditions of the Beaufort scale 1 thru 12 and Beaufort extended scale 13 thru 17

  • Hurricane rated - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, is 100% stable in cat 1, cat 2, cat 3, cat 4 and cat 5 hurricanes.

  • Rogue wave rated - spinning stabilized ship,SSS, is 100% stable in 100 foot high waves or higher.

  • Tsunami rated - spinning stabilized ship,SSS, is 100% stable in any Tsunami offshore, in deep water.

  • Capsizing rated - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, is a 100% stable hull can never remain capsized at anytime. There is a very low chance of the hull ever capsizing because it would take such a large wave event unlike anything ever known. It would have to be a freak event but spinning stabilized ship would right itself immediately. Normally 100 foot waves will not cause capsizing.

  • Self-righting rated - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, is a 100% stable self-righting hull at all times. The crew would know if conditions were approaching the possibility of capsizing and require the crew and passengers to go to the safe spaces onboard and use the five point harness seating to secure everyone until the vessel had self-right after capsizing momentarily. During this type of situation the helm would be able to increase the rate of rotation to compensate for wave weight and stabilize the ship to prevent a capsizing event.

  • Interior description - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, has 10 interior decks total. The basic layout of  compartments within the interior provide very comfortable accommodations for passengers and crew. A basic layout is offered with the price of a basic spinning stabilized ship. The layout can be customized specifically for any owner.

  • Safe spaces - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, has multiple safe spaces within the entire interior which are provided with multiple special seating with five point harnesses for both vertical seating and horizontal sleeping position. These safe spaces are provided everywhere so that all passengers may secure themselves during extraordinary extreme weather and sea conditions occur. Although, since the spinning stabilization is extremely capable of reducing or eliminating the effects of such sea conditions, passengers and crew would not normally require the use of these safe spaces.

  • Interior space for all passengers and crew - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, has six decks of interior with 37,364 square feet of deck space for passengers and crew. Deck five 7536 square feet, deck six 7850 square feet, deck seven 7536 square feet, deck eight 6592 square feet, deck nine 5024 square feet and deck ten 2826 square feet. All seven upper decks are above the waterline.

  • Interior lower four decks - spinning stabilized ship's, SSS, lower four decks house fuel tanks and entire propulsion system. Three of the four lower decks are below the waterline.

  • Exterior decks -  spinning stabilized ship, SSS, has none

  • Exterior windows - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, has none

  • Exterior view - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, instead of windows on every deck, has multiple large high definition video screens which allow 100% visibility of the outside environment and each video screen receives a signal from a hull mounted waterproof/self-cleaning video camera. These video screens are mounted on the inside of the hull all around each interior deck to appear like windows. All interior compartments which are not on the actual hull have video screens as well. This video screen system is powered with a redundant electrical system to prevent any interruption of a constant view of the outside environment.

  • Helm - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, has a 100% 360 degree view of the outside environment with a helm multiple video screen array at all times. From the helm, for security and navigation, the helm has all directional viewing.

  • Rotating helm - spinning stabilized ship's, SSS, rotating helm can select a mode whereas the images from all the video cameras constantly adjust to showing a steady view of the vessel's forward course in progress while underway.

  • Ingress/egress hatches - all of spinning stabilized ship's, SSS, decks have multiple ingress/egress hatches , both large and small with various sizes for passenger and crew boarding and loading of cargo and auxiliary craft.

  • Interior wet deck - spinning stabilized ship's, SSS, deck five with 7536 square feet is open with access to exterior ambient water. This deck has auxiliary craft launch and haul out capacity.  This deck can be customized as multiple possible purposes. One example of possible customized feature is a swimming pool and/or hot tub. This deck has multiple watertight ingress/egress large and small  hatches. This deck would be ten feet above the waterline.

  • Standard defensive equipment - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, has a long-range acoustic device (LRAD), acoustic hailing device (AHD) or sound cannon which is a specialized sound weapon that produces sound at high power human attack deterrence  at a distance from a potential piracy attack at sea.

  • Hull security - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, has a spherical exterior surface which prevents invasion of hull because of a complete lack of level exterior decks to stand on or walk on or land any kind aircraft on.

  • Helipad - spinning stabilized ship, SSS, has a customized option to include a helipad on the very top of the vessel. This would lower the extreme level of security because an unwelcome aircraft could land as well. Although the LRAD system would definitely help to deter any unwelcome aircraft.

  • Exterior hatch security - all of spinning stabilized ship's, SSS, ingress/egress hatches are watertight double security hatches secured and can be locked down from interior to prevent any unauthorized entry or exist as well.

  • Bullet proof Hull - spinning stabilized ship's, SSS, hull material is one inch thick steel, and most small arms weapons can not penetrate the hull.
